Online Youth Coaching & Mentoring
Support, guidance and confidence-building for young people aged 11-18yrs navigating life in the modern world
Growing up today comes with pressures previous generations never faced — academic stress, social media, anxiety, low confidence, identity struggles and constant comparison.
Online Youth Coaching & Mentoring provides a safe, supportive space for young people to talk openly, develop resilience and build the tools they need to navigate life with confidence.
What is Youth Coaching & Mentoring?
Youth coaching focuses on empowerment rather than advice. Rather than being told what to do, young people are gently guided to:
-
Understand their thoughts, feelings and behaviours
-
Develop emotional awareness and self-trust
-
Learn practical tools for confidence, resilience and decision-making
-
Build healthy coping strategies for stress and pressure
Sessions are 1-to-1, confidential and fully online, making them accessible and comfortable from home.
Hi there...I'm Nichola
I am a Transformational Life Coach and Mindfulness Facilitator
"My background and qualifications are in Psychology and Social Work, with over 20 years experience working with men, women, children and young people from all walks of life, with their own unique stories, complex needs, and a deep-rooted desire for change.
For the last 5 years I have worked independently as a Life Coach, working with individuals from all walks of life. My Online Youth Coaching & Mentoring programme is designed to empower young people to understand themselves better, to regulate their emotions and feel more capable of handling life's challenges — both now and in future. Whatever the issue, I am able to design and deliver a program for each young person based on their needs, preferences, communication and learning styles, as well as their availability and financial circumstances of the family.
Working with young people is both a joy and a privilege, as it allows me to make a deep-rooted and meaningful impact on the lives of the next generation, the ripple effects of which will be felt for years to come".

Testimonial: Danielle, 14yrs from Hertfordshire
“I haven’t felt anxious at all since coming into school at the start of the new year – I am no longer overthinking and imagining the worst, which is weird but really good. I’ve been going to all classes all by myself which is huge! I’ve been in on time every day since the start of term, had no detentions. I still get angry but have become better at [containing it] than exploding, shouting and taking it out on people. Things with mum are really good, we hardly ever argue. And I have made new friends both in and out of school. They aren’t the same as the usual kind of people I am friends with, but they are good people and I like that they are a bit different”.

How does it work?
Step 1. Parents may request a FREE Consultation or email me at mindfullifecoachuk@gmail.com summarising key concerns, the issues you would like Online Youth Coaching & Mentoring to address, and what your availability is for a 1hr no obligation video-call.
Step 2. Parents are contacted within 24hrs via text or email, to arrange a video call via Zoom or WhatsApp. This is an opportunity for me to introduce myself and the work I do; to find out about your child/teen, and how coaching can support your family. We discuss how many sessions may be needed, available dates and times, and answer any questions you may have about coaching to help you and your child/teen make the most informed decision.
Step 3. Parents will need to discuss the referral with their child/teen. Engagement must be voluntary, never forced, as they will be given a confidential space (within safeguard parameters) to explore whatever is going on in their world, and work towards the goals they personally wish to achieve. Once the young person has consented to Online Youth Coaching & Mentoring, parents will receive a Welcome Pack with a Registration Form, Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy to read, complete, sign and email back before the first session. Parents will receive an Invoice for the duration of the coaching program agreed; and are welcome to pay before each session (PAYG), or pay for programs in full in at the start of the program. Step 4. The young person’s first session is used to go through a Life Evaluation & Plan to help clarify where they are on their life journey, how satisfied they are, what their priorities are, and how coaching is going to help them move towards what you want to be experiencing in 10 key areas of life. They will be sent a copy of the completed document, plus an outline of what each session of their Online Youth Coaching & Mentoring program will focus on (parents will also be sent this outline). These sessions are flexible and can be delivered in whichever order works best for the young person, and the program is adaptable depending on their circumstances. Step 5. The young person is now ready to access your customised Coaching Program, which would usually range from 4 to 12 sessions. My approach combines: •Mindfulness-based coaching •Emotional wellbeing tools •Confidence and mindset work •Compassionate listening and empowerment Every young person is treated as an individual, with sessions adapted to their pace, personality and needs. Text and email support is available for FREE between sessions, as well as audio recordings, course materials and detailed summaries of each coaching session to refer back to. Step 6. If at the end of a program further sessions are needed, our work can of course be extended, otherwise coaching can end whenever the parent and young person feel the time is right. Step 7. Feedback is usually requested upon completion of any program to inform future improvements in service. All clients are given 10% off their next coaching session for any Google reviews published, and 10% off for any referrals to friends and family. Step 8: Clients who complete a programme are offered a FREE 12 Month Catch-Up Session after coaching has ended, to evaluate ongoing progress and keep them on track with longer term goals and dreams. Clients are welcome to sign up for monthly 60min catch up sessions to ensure they stay on track with their longer-term goals and to help trouble-shoot any issues which inevitably arise and to stay on track in achieving their goals and dreams.
